Vitale Proudly votes YES on the Ohio Heartbeat Bill.

Columbus - State Rep. Nino Vitale, said, he is a proud supporter of the Heartbeat Bill. "We are losing 25,000 Ohioan's a year. It is time to protect and be a voice for the voiceless. I also feel this will be one of the single best legal avenues to remove Roe v. Wade from our US Constitution. Our families are our most precious resource."

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Nino Vitale, 85th District, R-Urbana, was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 131st General Assembly during a ceremony at the Statehouse Monday.


“It is an honor and privilege to serve the 85th House District, Vitale said. “I look forward to working hard for each constituent in Champaign, Shelby and Logan county. I am committed to represent my district with the same principles and zeal with which I was elected.”


Vitale has more than 20 years of private-sector experience, including working with companies like Apple Computer, Frigidaire, Wendy’s International, Simonton Windows, and Limited Brands. He is currently working at his family’s manufacturing business in Urbana, Ohio.


A 16-year resident of Champaign County, Vitale remains active in his community. He has served as vice president of Champaign County Right to Life, a Cub Scout leader; Ohio Foster Family. He is also an NRA pistol instructor and an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Urbana.


Originally born in Cleveland, Ohio, where his family settled after emigrating from Italy, Vitale spent his younger years working in a factory and playing in a variety of bands as a drummer in the greater Cleveland area. Eventually he became the first in his family to graduate from college at The Ohio State University where he was a four-year member of The Ohio State University Marching Band.


Vitale lives just outside of Urbana with his wife, Lilli, and their five boys.
